Prediction, Odds & Betting tips for Fulham vs. Arsenal at Premier League
The Gunners escaped certain death last week, once they managed to flip the result against the last-placed Bournemouth. Three points were a gift from the above, and Mike Arteta’s unit can’t allow itself to repeat mistakes like that. Meanwhile, Fulham is just a few points from the Champions League and awfully close to the international stage. Reaching Europe would be a massive success for Mitro and the boys.
Fulham
Fulham lost to Brentford on Monday night, 3-2, in a gunfight that didn’t end in their favor. We have to say that the game turned out to be very interesting, as both teams attacked and tried to outplay the rival.
After seven rounds in a row without a loss, this was the first one for the Cottagers, who were in excellent shape. Mitro and the crew won four of the previous five, looking very tough and sharp in all the areas on the field.
When looking at the home games, in the last four, Fulham has subsequent draws and wins. There is a notable pattern regarding efficiency, as we often see a moderate one (2 or 3 goals) happening seven times in the last eight events.
Arsenal
The Gunners were one step from the abyss last Saturday. They were down 0-2 against the Cherries, arguably the worst team in the league, but somehow managed to score three goals in the late phase of the event and keep their chances of winning the title realistic.
That triumph was the fourth in a row for Arteta and the crew, and in all but one, Arsenal scored three goals at least. The win over Leicester on the road was the sole event during this triumphant streak with fewer than four goals.
Arsenal’s games on the road haven’t been that efficient lately, with them posting just one in the most recent five with over 2.5 scores.
Fulham: Leno; Tete, Diop, Ream, Robinson; Reed, Lukic; Decordova-Reid, Pereira, Willian; Mitrovic
Arsenal: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tierney; Jorginho, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Nketiah
Arsenal was better in late August, winning 2-1 against the Cottagers at the Emirates Stadium. Fulham took the lead, but the hosts responded, scoring two afterward. Arsenal didn’t lose against Fulham in the past nine games, winning seven of them.
Fulham is direct at home, not allowing anyone to impose its own tempo. We expect to see them playing in the same manner against Arsenal. This should be an open and exciting event, with plenty of goals, so we pick over 2.5 scores.
Our verdict: Over 2.5 goals
