Prediction, Odds & Betting tips for Bayern Munich vs. Inter Milan at UEFA Champions League
Bayern Munich and Inter Milan have nine UEFA Champions League titles, so it is no wonder we decided to cover this event, despite the fact that both teams don’t have a competitive motive to win it. Bayern secured the top spot in the assembly, Inter is second for sure, and they can’t go up or down here. But, reputation and prestige are at stake, and sometimes, that’s more important than any other reason.
Bayern Munich
The Bavarians are in top gear right now, and they’ve shown that over the past few weeks. Most recently, Julian Nagelsmann’s crew beat the hell out of Mainz at Allianz Arena, trashing the Bundesliga rivals 6-2. From what we saw, the Bavarians could have been even more confident, but even this result turned out to be pretty high.
Bayern has six consecutive victories, during which they’ve scored at least two goals in each event. To be even more precise, in the past nine games, Muller, Musiala, and the boys delivered multiple hits. We are talking about the events in all the competitions, and for those who didn’t notice, so far in the UCL, Bayern’s goal difference is 16-2.
The German champs have five consecutive victories at home, and the one against Mainz is the first following four in which they couldn’t keep the net intact. Through these five events, the total goal difference was 22-2.
Inter Milan
Nerazzurri are without a loss in the past seven contests, winning the most recent four. They have six wins and one draw throughout this excellent period, and that one matchup in which the Italians failed to win was in Barcelona, 3-3, and even then, Inter had a chance to triumph.
Following one pretty nasty period, when Inter played inconsistently, Nerazzurri improved significantly. They still have occasional drops and black minutes, but overall, the current form is at a much higher level than two months ago.
Inter won three of the previous five road contests, losing one and posting one draw. Four of those events were with both teams netting and with over 2.5 scores.
Bayern Munich: Ulreich; Pavard, Upamecano, de Ligt, Davies; Kimmich, Goretzka; Coman, Muller, Mane; Choupo-Moting
Inter Milan: Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Correa, Martinez
The Bavarians won the game in Milan 0-2, without too many problems, dominating throughout almost the entire event. They were a superior side in this one by far.
We are taking the hosts to win here, because they have a deeper roster, and undoubtedly, both managers will mix the lineup. Since Bayern has more high-quality players, we think that they should win.
Our verdict: Bayern Munich Wins
