Prediction, Odds & Betting Tips for Everton vs. Tottenham at English Premier League
Everton had a marvelous stretch after suffering a disciplinary fine, but they significantly slowed down over the past several weeks. That’s why the Toffees have only one point more than the teams in the relegation zone. Tottenham, meanwhile, is near the UEFA Champions League zone, still hoping to catch up with Liverpool and Man City in the title race. To do that, three points in this event are a must.
Everton
The last time Everton won in the Premiership was in mid-December, beating Burnley on the road 0-2. After that, the Toffees had a cold stretch of six games in a row without a victory, losing four straight before back-to-back draws. For a moment, we saw them bouncing back in the FA Cup, 1-0 against Palace, but that didn’t last long.
Immediately in the next round, the Toffees lost to Luton at home, 1-2. Their results at Goodison are worrying, with Everton winning only one of the past five events, losing three of those meetings, and posting one tie.
The game against Luton was the first following three to see some goals in it. In the previous 270 minutes, we’ve witnessed only one score overall.
Tottenham
The Spurs are not stopping, and even though they had plenty of problems at one point, Ange Postecoglu’s unit was tough enough to overcome all of them and get back in the saddle. Sure, they don’t have Son, but they managed just fine without him.
Losing narrowly to Manchester City, 0-1, isn’t a failure because Tottenham played well. Yes, they did lose a chance to win one trophy, but in these circumstances, that might be beneficial at some point.
Tottenham’s games on the road are efficient, with five in the last six seeing both teams to score and over 2.5 hits. On all but one, the Spurs netted at least twice, showing its offensive prowess.
Everton: Pickford; Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Harrison, Onana, Garner, McNeil; Calvert-Lewin, Beto
Tottenham: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Hojbjerg, Bentancur; Johnson, Kulusevski, Werner; Richarlison

Tottenham was better than Everton in the first meeting of the year, with them beating the Toffees 2-1 in London. They netted twice in the opening 20 minutes, through Richarlison and Son, and after that killed the tempo of play. Gomes cut the lead some ten minutes before the final whistle, but Everton couldn’t do anything more than that.
This game won’t be nice to watch, but we still expect to see enough chances for at least three goals. Both Everton and Tottenham have to attack to get three points, and our pick for this matchup is over 2.5 goals.
Our verdict: Over 2.5 goals
