Fulham and Chelsea aren’t in some particularly good situation. Furthermore, these two units find themselves in problems. It’s no wonder to see them scoring only five goals in six matches, and right now, execution seems to be the biggest problem here. But the strikers themselves aren’t only to blame, with the midfielders not packing enough assists. 

We continuously mention Mitrovic’s departure, but that’s been the crucial moment here, with the Serb’s absence changing the entire team system.

Chelsea

We don’t know where to start with Chelsea. After hundreds of millions of all kinds of currencies spent, this unit is even worse than during the previous year. We can’t understand what’s happening in the locker room and whether Mauricio Pochettino has any influence on the current developments. 

The Blues haven’t scored in the previous three events, losing two of them, both at home at Stamford. After 0-1 to Nottingham, they went to Bournemouth to play a game without goals, before another minimal loss at home to Aston Villa, 0-1. 

Nkunku’s injury heavily disrupted the entire chemistry on the field, but still, it’s tragic to see Chelsea playing like they do now. All those expensive players are getting schooled by guys who are several times cheaper.
