Prediction, Odds & Betting Tips for Inter Milan vs. Lazio at Super Cup
Saudi Arabia has become a sort of safehouse for the Super Cup competitions from all around Europe. After the Spanish, the Italian teams will decide who lifts the trophy at the end of the weekend. Inter Milan comes to Riyadh with an intention to win, and the same goes for Lazio, whose performances in recent times have been excellent.
Inter Milan
The Nerazzurri have been stable lately, and as a result, they are still leading the Serie A title race ahead of Juventus. Simone Inzaghi’s unit presented good and very confident football, and apart from losing to Bologna in the Italian Cup, everything looked well.
It is, in fact, the only defeat Inter posted since October, so we have to admit that the UCL finalists look very serious in their intention to attack all the possible trophies this season.
Inter was victorious in three of the previous four events, adding one tie and netting ten goals during this span. The most recent clash was against Monza on the road, where they completely dismantled the rivals with a 1-5 victory.
Lazio
The Eagles have five victories in a row and play very competitive football. Overall, this unit significantly rose its form during the end of November and, ever since, posted good results.
The majority of their triumphs came at home, though, in recent meetings, the Eagles have shown resilience away from home, beating Udinese and Empoli while playing without winners against Verona.
Lazio isn’t playing high-efficient matches. To be precise, eight of the past ten across all the competitions saw under three goals. During this span, seven saw only one side netting, and in the majority of cases, it was Lazio who prevented the rivals from hitting the back of the net.
Inter Milan: Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Martinez
Lazio: Provedel; Lazzari, Romagnoli, Patric, Marusic; Guendouzi, Rovella, Alberto; Isaksen, Anderson, Immobile

There was already one meeting between the two clubs this year, on December 17, when Inter triumphed in Rome 0-2. It was the first after seven events in which we haven’t seen both teams netting, and the second time during the same span with under 2.5 goals.
Both teams are playing very good football, and the results are backing up that claim. We don’t want to make any prognosis regarding the final outcome and the winner, but on the other side, when it comes to efficiency, we believe that a moderate one, two, or three goals is the most realistic.
Our verdict: Moderate efficiency 2 or 3 goals
