Two of the best teams in the UEFA Champions League will square off in Istanbul to decide which wins the most prestigious and important trophy in one club football competition. The Citizens are absolute favorites, with them playing magnificent football, but Inter has its plans and chances as well, with the Italians improving their form recently and posting excellent results.

Guardiola’s boys are fantastic, and for the moment, they secured the double by winning the Premier League and the FA Cup, but that won’t matter if they lose the battle for the continental trophy. It is the one title the Spanish manager has craved ever since he established domination with the Citizens. 

Man City beat its local rivals, Man Utd, in the FA Cup finals, 2-1, performing confidently, not allowing the guests to feel comfortable throughout the entire event, pulling all the strings and dominating through most of the time. 

We’ve seen them scoring two or more goals in more than 80% of games following the World Cup, and one of the main reasons is Erling Haaland, who not only executes perfectly but also creates more space for other forwards, like Silva, De Bruyne, Gundogan, etc. 

Inter

The Italians have 11 victories and one loss over the previous 12 games. They have been incredible throughout this stretch, beating all the top teams in Italy and winning the Coppa Italia trophy in the meantime. 

Nerazzurri is a team that relies on solid attack and a very strong midfield, with a couple of players whose stamina and endurance are among the highest in Europe. The defense has been rather inconsistent, but it would produce seven clean sheets in those 12 games mentioned.

Simone Inzaghi’s handwriting is all over the place, with the younger Inzaghi brother imposing his offensive style. He was a striker, and as such, Inzaghi’s mentality is to attack and dictate the tempo through pressure and aggressiveness.
