Prediction, Odds & Betting Tips for RB Leipzig vs. Real Madrid at UEFA Champions League
The King goes to Germany to meet the new rise in European football, RB Leipzig. Real is the favorite in this matchup because of the home-court advantage, though they won’t count on that but want to settle everything already in Leipzig. The hosts are aware of their position but won’t step down because there is nothing to lose. RB’s oscillations this season are massive, and they aren’t in some particularly good shape. But hope is always present.
RB Leipzig
As stated, the Bulls have nothing to lose here and are without any pressure. Their form is poor, recording the first win last weekend following three straight losses. They were better than the sorry Union Berlin, 2-0, snapping a negative streak that saw them losing to Leverkusen, Stuttgart, and Eintracht.
All those failures pushed them down on the Bundesliga standings, and they need to get back on track as soon as possible. Otherwise, this season might be the worst for the Bulls in the past couple of years.
In the last nine events at their stadium, RB posted eight wins and one defeat, which is an impressive record. Six of those meetings had over 2.5 hits, and five had both teams scoring.
Real Madrid
The one team Real does not know how to handle this season is Atletico, whom they couldn’t defeat for the third time in the past four meetings. Los Blancos allowed an equalizer in the stoppage time against the hated enemy, complicating their position in the title race.
But there is no time for Ancelotti and the boys to lament over that because they need to be ready for the challenge in Germany. Real is one of the favorites for the title and needs to be ready for the Bulls.
The game against Atletico was the seventh in the past eight, with both teams netting, counting all the competitions, and we need to say that Ancelotti has certain problems in the back, though, the fantastic offense covers all that.
RB Leipzig: Blaswich; Simakan, Klostermann, Lukeba, Raum; Simons, Haidara, Schlager, Olmo; Sesko, Openda
Real Madrid: Lunin; Carvajal, Rudiger, Nacho, Mendy; Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Vinicius

We saw these two teams meeting last year, and each unit got a win apiece. Just to mention, these games were in group stages. Real defeated RB at home, 2-0, while the second event, the one in Germany, finished 3-2 for the hosts.
RB struggles to protect its net, and they aren’t convincing at all. Real shows the same flaws, but their offensive potential is at a much higher level, and even though they play on the road, Los Blancos are our pick here.
Our verdict: Real Madrid wins
