The Spurs are underachieving, and that’s a fact. They were supposed to compete for the title, and right now, they aren’t even among the top four teams in the league, sitting three points behind Manchester United and having a game more than the Red Devils.

After losing to Arsenal and Man City, Antonio Conte’s unit bounced back with a win on the road against Fulham, 0-1, and by eliminating Preston from the FA Cup, also away from home, 0-3.

The Spurs are highly unstable in this campaign, and even though Conte’s crew experienced some troubles with injuries, we simply can’t accept that as an alibi for inconsistent performances.

Manchester City

The Citizens are five points behind Arsenal, who has a game in hand. Therefore the pressure is on Guardiola and the boys coming into this battle, and they need to take all three points; otherwise the championship race is already over.

City had back-to-back losses, one in the EFL Cup, to Southampton 2-0, and then against Manchester United in the EPL, 2-1. Though, the one against the local rivals was highly controversial due to some of the officiating errors.

Since then, City has won three in a row, defeating Tottenham, 4-2, the Wolves, 3-0, and at last, Arsenal in the FA Cup, 1-0. All these events were at the Etihad.
