Prediction, Odds & Betting Tips for Wolves vs. Chelsea at English Premier League
This is a clash between two teams who expected to be much better this year. Both the Wolves and the Blues underachieved, and there can’t be an alibi for their recent performances. Wolverhampton can’t find any consistency, and despite playing solid football, Julen Lopetegui’s crew simply can’t do anything worthy of mentioning. On the other side, Chelsea is in the same situation. Pochettino tries to find a winning formula, but things simply aren’t clicking.
Wolves
As stated, inconsistency is the main problem for the Wolves, who have three wins in the past 10 Premiership rounds. Apart from these victories, we’ve seen them lose on four occasions and three ties.
Wolves have a very poor defense, and that’s the root of all their problems. Since the season began, this unit has managed to record only two clean sheets, which tells a lot about the vulnerability of the back line. Cunha and Hwang score goals and are efficient, but overall, they can’t cover up all their teammates’ errors from the back commit.
Eight of the past 11 events concluded with over 2.5 hits and nine with both teams netting. That says enough about the efficiency.
Chelsea
We don’t know what to think about the Blues. Looking for an alibi in Christopher Nkunku’s absence can’t be possible anymore because Chelsea spent too much money this summer to depend upon just one player.
After back-to-back losses, the team from Stamford has defeated the worst team in the Premiership, Sheffield United, 2-0. The Blues suffered a defeat at Old Trafford at first, 2-1, and after that against Everton at Goodison, 2-0.
Chelsea is terrible on the road lately, with three losses in a row, allowing eight goals in total during the span while scoring only two. In general, most of their road contests are efficient, as four of the past five concluded with three or more goals.
Wolves: Bentley; Kilman, Toti, Dawson; Semedo, Lemina, Gomes, Bellegrade; Sarabia, Hwang, Cunha
Chelsea: Petrovic; Gusto, Disasi, Badiashile, Maatsen; Caicedo, Fernandez; Sterling, Gallagher, Palmer; Nkunku

Both hosts have triumphed in the previous season. The first meeting at Stamford Bridge completed with Chelsea’s routine 3-0 victory, while on the other hand, the clash at Molineux witnessed the Wolves narrow win, 1-0.
Goals will be our focus here because both teams have tremendous problems in their respective backlines. Wolves may have one of the weakest defenses in the Premiership, and we can’t say anything better for Chelsea, whose defenders have frequent blackouts. Three or more goals will be the best pick here, and do know that the odds on this are very good considering the lack of risk.
Our verdict: Over 2.5 goals
