Prediction, Odds & Betting Tips for Bayern Munich vs. RB Leipzig at Bundesliga
Bayern is in a crisis. Tuchel seems to be a failure, and his stint is already marked as a bust despite having enough time to regroup and make improvements. However, the way things develop, that’s not likely to happen, and for the moment, it appears that Bayern can only go downwards. As for the Bulls from Leipzig, they oscillate as usual and can’t find the right rhythm. But on the other side, RB likes to play against Bayern this season and come to Munich to triumph.
Bayern Munich
The Bavarians have three losses in a row, and after slaps in the face against Leverkuzen and Lazio, we saw them once again taking a hard kick in the teeth. Only this time, the rivals were Bochum, who won at home, 3-2. That failure concluded a very nasty three-game streak on the road, which might be the turning point of the season for the Bundesliga champs.
During these 270 minutes, Bayern conceded seven times and managed to have back-to-back events without a goal scored. Ever since Tuchel came, Bayern hasn’t looked like the powerhouse it was in the past.
We have already mentioned way too many times that his tactics aren’t following Bayern’s mentality and that Tuchel’s approach is slow and defensive-minded compared to his predecessors on the bench.
RB Leipzig
RB could be an example of an inconsistent team. Despite high quality, the Bulls aren’t showing all of their potential, and to be honest, we don’t know the reason for that. What we learned in the past is that this team plays in waves, having stretches of positive results followed by negative periods.
After the winter break, Leipzig posted only two wins, with four defeats and one tie, looking unrecognizable in some situations. The only positive thing is that they beat Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend, boosting their morale ahead of this derby.
RB’s away results are rough, with them winning only three events, with two ties and five defeats. However, the efficiency of all road meetings is high, with one in the past seven not reaching a three-goal mark. By the way, all of those contests were with goals on both ends.
Bayern Munich: Neuer; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Kim, Guerreiro; Kimmich, Dier; Sane, Goretzka, Musiala; Kane
RB Leipzig possible starting lineup: Gulacsi; Simakan, Klostermann, Orban, Raum; Kampl, Schlager; Simons, Dani Olmo; Sesko, Openda

There were two meetings between Bayern and RB this year. The first in the German Super Cup, when RB demolished Bayern at the Allianz Arena, 0-3, and the second in Leipzig, which was a Bundesliga contest. It ended without winners, 2-2.
Bayern is in such problems that we strongly believe Tuchel won’t be their head coach next season. He might even leave the bench in the following weeks. RB’s performances on the road are sluggish but include plenty of goals, and that’s the reason why we take over 2.5 hits as our pick for Sunday’s derby.
Our verdict: Over 2.5 goals
