It will be thrilling to see the match between PSG and Newcastle on Tuesday. Both teams need a victory, otherwise, they could end up in a pretty bad spot regarding the knockout stage plans. The Saints are more comfortable, but as stated previously, if they fail to acquire three points, that will dramatically change. Newcastle lost back-to-back events against Borussia Dortmund, which was quite unexpected, and Eddie Howe’s boys now have to save their skin against the French powerhouse.

Over the past five appearances in Paris, Luis Enrique’s boys delivered five straight victories without a goal conceded and with 15 scored on the other side of the pitch.

We need to know that despite Kylian Mbappe’s fantastic production, the team’s biggest strength is defense, as it plays significantly better than two months ago. Enrique’s system is slowly starting to provide good results, and as time goes by, we expect them to be even better.

Newcastle

We are pretty sure that even Borussia Dortmund fans didn’t expect two victories against Newcastle. After a marvelous win against PSG at St. James’s Park, the Magpies collapsed against the Millionaires, putting themselves in a terrible situation.

They now have to make a break on the road and return with three points from Paris, which is a pretty challenging test. Much bigger teams couldn’t achieve that.

Lately, Newcastle has been struggling to deliver away from home. They recorded back-to-back losses on the road, losing in Dortmund and Brentford with the identical result, 2-0.
