The main event of the UFC Paris is the heavyweight bout between Ciryl Gane and Tai Tuivasa. After losing three in a row, this charismatic 29-year-old Aussie defeated his next five opponents. Tuivasa was 9-0 once he suffered defeats to Junior dos Santos, Blagoy Ivanov and Sergey Spivak, yet after that went on a rampage that propelled him to No.3 in the division rankings.

His victims were Stefan Struve, Harry Hunsucker, Greg Hardy, Augusto Sakai, and Derrick Lewis. What is impressive in this situation is the fact that all these victories were via KO, three in the opening round. 

He made certain adjustments after the losses, bringing in new items in his arsenal, and adapting to the fact that he isn’t as athletic as other guys in the organization. That’s why he uses bursts to avoid the rival’s jabs and they smash them from inside the clinch.

The French is the favorite, a massive one, and we believe he will win. The reason for that is his Muay Thai and fantastic kicking technique. Also, if he moves the fight down to the ground, Tuivasa doesn’t stand a chance.
