Even though the Saints aren’t as strong as before, nobody expected to see Mbappe and the boys humiliated like that. Again, we saw different players scoring goals, which has become a sort of characteristic of this unit. For instance, in an 8-0 win over Sheffield United, eight different guys netted. 

Newcastle is a very patient team that knows when to pump up the volume or to calm down. The defense showed progress after a slow start, posting several clean sheets and reminding everyone about its quality. 

Dortmund

Edin Terzic’s boys oscillate, which is nothing new for this unit. Still, the Millionaires had only one loss so far, and it was in the UEFA Champions League, against PSG on the road.

They were solid in that event, missing a few chances in the first 45 minutes, before significantly slowing down in the second half. PSG used that to break the rivals and win. The game against Milan at Signal Iduna showed numerous weaknesses in the back line, and even though Borussia took one point, that was pure luck.

Reuss and the guys missed a couple of golden opportunities for scoring, but on the other side, we’ve seen Milan constantly threatening Kobel. The defense is shaky this year, and the numbers are proving our claim.
